Description
Beige Oak Izmir is a decor for people who value calm and order at home. Planks without a bevel form a smooth, almost seamless surface, so the floor does not visually break up the space and works well in open-plan living areas where the living room joins the kitchen.
Izmir: a cooler beige with an elegant pattern
The colour is a light beige broken with grey, with long, straight fibres and very subtle variations. This decor looks good with white or grey fronts, architectural concrete, steel and glass, and warm textiles easily make it feel cosy. A floor in this shade is also practical: it does not show dust like dark panels or dirt like very light ones.
Why an SPC floor is a sensible choice
SPC panels combine the look of wood with the resilience of mineral materials. The calcium carbonate and PVC core is fully waterproof and resistant to deformation, so a spilled drink or wet shoes in the hallway are no problem. The factory-bonded 1 mm underlay dampens footstep noise, evens out minor subfloor irregularities and means you do not need to buy a separate underlay. Compared with ceramic tiles, the floor is more pleasant to the touch and quieter in use.

How many packs should I order?
Panels are sold in full packs. One pack contains 10 planks, which is 2.2448 m² of flooring. Add an allowance for cuts to the measured area: about 5% for straight installation and about 10% for diagonal installation or irregularly shaped rooms. The calculator on this page converts the area into packs automatically.
- 10 m² + 5% allowance: 5 packs (11.22 m²)
- 20 m² + 5% allowance: 10 packs (22.45 m²)
- 30 m² + 5% allowance: 15 packs (33.67 m²)
Where can these panels be used?
Use class 33 and abrasion class AC5 mean the panels are also designed for high-traffic areas. They are suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, children’s rooms, hallways, kitchens, dining rooms and bathrooms (outside the shower cubicle), as well as offices, surgeries and commercial premises. They are a good fit both for new homes and for renovations.
Installation and care
- Before installation, leave the unopened packs in the room for 48 hours so the panels adjust to the temperature and humidity.
- The subfloor must be clean, dry, level and load-bearing; level out larger irregularities before laying.
- Leave an expansion gap at walls, thresholds and other fixed elements.
- Lay planks taken alternately from several packs to achieve a natural distribution of shades.
- Inspect the panels before installation and report any comments on their appearance before laying them.
- For everyday care a vacuum cleaner and a slightly damp mop are enough; do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaners and do not leave standing water on the floor.
- Stick felt pads under the legs of heavy furniture to spread the load.
Frequently asked questions
Do the panels have a bevel (V-groove)?
No, the Izmir decor has square edges without a groove. If you prefer clearly defined planks, choose one of our decors in the V-groove version.
Can the panels be laid over underfloor heating?
Yes, the panels are suitable for underfloor heating. The thermal resistance of the integrated underlay is 0.025 m²K/W and its thermal conductivity is 0.040 W/(m·K), so the floor transfers heat efficiently. We recommend that the total thermal resistance of the floor does not exceed 0.15 m²K/W. Follow the heating system manufacturer’s guidelines.
Can I order a sample before buying?
Yes, you can order a sample of this product. The shade on screen depends on monitor settings and lighting, so it is worth seeing the decor in person in your own interior.
