Description
Natural Brown Oak from the Hasselt Hickory line is designed for anyone who wants the look of a classic wooden plank without its sensitivity to water and scratches. The planks measure 122 × 18.4 cm, are 5 mm thick in total and come with a factory-bonded underlay, so installation is simply a matter of clicking the panels together.
Hasselt Hickory decor: the warmth of wood for everyday life
The decor reproduces oak in a caramel-brown shade with long grain lines and subtle knots. The surface has a wood texture you can feel under your fingers, so the floor looks natural in daylight and in the evening. This colour pairs well with white, beige, bottle green and black accents, and in a bedroom or living room it creates a calm, warm backdrop for textiles and light wood furniture.
A rigid SPC core that is not afraid of water
At the heart of the panel is a composite SPC (Stone Polymer Composite) core made of calcium carbonate and PVC. It is 100% waterproof, does not swell with moisture and keeps stable dimensions, so the floor can be laid in kitchens, hallways or bathrooms (outside the direct shower area). The factory-bonded IXPE 1 mm underlay dampens footstep noise, evens out minor subfloor irregularities and means you do not need to buy a separate underlay. The floor feels warmer underfoot than ceramic tiles and is easy to keep clean.

How many packs should I order?
Panels are sold in full packs. One pack contains 10 planks, which is 2.2448 m² of flooring. Add an allowance for cuts to the measured area: about 5% for straight installation and about 10% for diagonal installation or irregularly shaped rooms. The calculator on this page converts the area into packs automatically.

Where can these panels be used?
Use class 33 and abrasion class AC5 mean the panels are also designed for high-traffic areas. They are suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, children’s rooms, hallways, kitchens, dining rooms and bathrooms (outside the shower cubicle), as well as offices, surgeries and commercial premises. They are a good fit both for new homes and for renovations.
Installation and care
- Before installation, leave the unopened packs in the room for 48 hours so the panels adjust to the temperature and humidity.
- The subfloor must be clean, dry, level and load-bearing; level out larger irregularities before laying.
- Leave an expansion gap at walls, thresholds and other fixed elements.
- Lay planks taken alternately from several packs to achieve a natural distribution of shades.
- Inspect the panels before installation and report any comments on their appearance before laying them.
- For everyday care a vacuum cleaner and a slightly damp mop are enough; do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaners and do not leave standing water on the floor.
- Stick felt pads under the legs of heavy furniture to spread the load.
Frequently asked questions
Does this panel have a bevelled edge (V-groove)?
No, the Hasselt Hickory version has square edges. Once laid, the planks form a smooth, uniform surface with barely visible joints.
Do I need to buy an additional underlay?
No. Each panel has a factory-integrated 1 mm IXPE underlay, so once the subfloor is prepared you can start laying straight away.
Can the panels be laid over underfloor heating?
Yes, the panels are suitable for underfloor heating. The thermal resistance of the integrated underlay is 0.025 m²K/W and its thermal conductivity is 0.040 W/(m·K), so the floor transfers heat efficiently. We recommend that the total thermal resistance of the floor does not exceed 0.15 m²K/W. Follow the heating system manufacturer’s guidelines.
